You filled a very empty space for me when no-one else could. You were strong and beside me whenever I needed you there. I never took   that for granted. I appreciated every moment we spent together. You are without exception the BEST!! Your spirit will live on in my heart forever. You will be in that magical place where life is "ALWAYS" good! I need only close my eyes and believe. I will find you there trotting down that wooded path. Your eyes bright and focused, your nose sniffing the air, pine, and earth. Your beautiful Akita tail curled high and proud, swishing side to side. Your ears turned back listening for my footsteps behind you. I will smile remembering those special days and your special gifts of peace, love, and friendship. These gifts from the lion heart of an Akita! Life "IS" good!  Right now you are in my heart, and my thoughts and prayers are with you that you should not spend one moment in discomfort. That you should know in your silent wisdom we are here, we will not let you down. You will find such a perfect place to roam, sniff, romp, play, or just lie down and enjoy. For such a wise, loving faithful friend the rewards will be great. Treats, treats treats! And most of all
